EpiCentre Craft Brew Crawl at The Pavilion – Friday, November 29

Whether you’ll still be trying to digest that turkey or depression kicked in after spending your entire savings on today with Black Friday Shopping, the EpiCentre Craft Brew Crawl can cure what ‘ales’ you!  Your favorite EpiCentre bars will be open including BlackFinn, StrikeCity, Vida, Bubble, Whisky River, and the newly revamped SUITE!  Each bar will feature craft favorites to make you and your taste buds happy!  The fun begins at 8pm.  Remember to have a designated driver if you plan to attend!

Miracle on 34th Street at The McColl Family Theatre

Celebrate the holidays with this glorious adaptation of the classic 1947 film.   Everyone will love this funny, poignant take on the cherished Miracle on 34th Street story. For more information visit the Children’s Theatre website.  Tickets start at $12.

Holiday Afternoon Tea at The Ritz-Carlton

A treasured tradition among Charlotteans, this beloved seasonal event is presented in the hotel’s beautiful Urban Sip.  Take in the amazing panoramic views of the city. Light Show at the Speedway

Things to do in Charlotte for the holidaysCharlotte Motor Speedway brings the holidays to LIGHT this holiday season with the return of Carolina Christmas, a spectacular drive-through Christmas light park and village located at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord.  Carolina Christmas is one of the largest holiday light shows in the US, featuring over 600 LED light displays including over 3 million lights.  Carolina Christmas also offers a Christmas Village with a stunning Bethlehem-themed village, a Festival of Trees, photos with Santa and plenty of food and music.  Enjoy Friday and Saturday night movies under the start on the world’s largest HDTV screen at CMS this month as well.  Visit the speedway website for more information on Movie Night.  Movie Night schedule (subject to change) includes:

  • Nov. 29 & 30 – “Polar Express”
  • Dec. 6 & 7 – “Christmas Vacation”
  • Dec. 13 & 14 – “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
  • Dec. 20 & 21 – “A Christmas Story”
  • Dec. 27 & 28 – “Elf”

The light show is open daily from Nov. 23 to Dec. 30 (closed Christmas Day) from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission into Speedway Christmas is $20 per car when the Christmas Village is open and $15 on nights the Village is closed. Group rates for vans and buses are available.
